Bigha bike

Originator John Acres explained Bigha in the San Francisco Chronicle daily newspaper as a bike for those "who want outdoor entertainment, who want to switch off the TV, get out and explore the real world".
A Bigha bike costs around 3000 dollars, including freight. The bike is sold direct from the manufacturer via the internet, which reduces all kinds of intermediaries.

The concept is called "Billet to bike", and involves pressing specially adapted hollow profiles, which then undergo several stages of processing. The process is completed by environment-friendly powder coating. The end product offers both superior strength and rigidity.
