Windows must be fixed to a ridged and suitable wall structure according to the applicable protection class. The choice of fixing elements, as well as their number and location, depend on the protection class, wall type and size. The joint between the window and the wall structure must be protected in order for the complete structure to meet the requirements for the applicable protection class.
