Building system: Sapa RC System Elegance 52 (curtain wall), Excellence 65 (windows and doors) and Alure (roof window).

 

Description: The impressive Casino Kursaal starts a new life and will soon be considered again as the ‘landmark’ of Ostend. The building is being renovated, both interior and exterior, in order to meet the current requirements of a congress and event hall.

The curtain wall takes up about 4500 m2 and is built with Elegance 52 (standard curtain wall system), Excellence
65 profiles (3-chamber system for windows and doors) and Alure (roof window).

The large glazed areas make the building very transparent, creating a direct link between the inside of the building and the sea.

The renewed Casino Kursaal Ostend will open its doors in January 2005.
