SLIMSLIDE is a horizontal sliding aluminium system designed with focus on residential patio doors, equally suited to other types of building with large openings.
The product concept relies on slim extruded profiles with narrow aluminium sightlines, allowing the construction of panes up to 5 sq mt [3000mm (H) x 1500mm (L) approx.].
Each panel uses 32mm tempered double-glazing retained with a silicone based structural sealant. Due to type and thickness of glazing, the pane dimensions and the weather requirements for the application of the system, it was developed with cold profiles, wet achieving remarkable energy efficiency.
These conceptual product solutions were designed to meet the challenge of contemporary architecture seeking for the Mediterranean lifestyle search for natural lightning of buildings.
