It all started in 1963
After graduating in the 1950s, two young Swedish engineers travelled to the United States to work in the aluminium industry where they learned about aluminium extrusions. On their return home, they discovered that there were no independent extruders in Sweden and seized the opportunity to establish their own venture. They decided that the ideal location for their new business would be a mid-point between Stockholm, Malmö and Gothenburg and so, in 1963, the company was established in the Swedish town of Vetlanda.
