In collaboration with EPEA (Environmental Protection and Encourangement Agency), Sapa have completed the certification process for Cradle-to-Cradle.
To meet the Cradle-to-Cradle requirements, we redesigned our products, business and fabrication process. In order to qualify for the Cradle-to-Cradle label, products must satisfy very strict and provable (objective measurable) requirements; in the field of material choice, the way of producing, (dis-)assembly and reuse. When all these requirements are met, the quality mark for Cradle-to-Cradle can be obtained.
As of the 1st of October 2011, the aluminium lighting columns produced by Sapa Pole Products are officially Silver Cradle-to-Cradle certified.
