A handle for Anza
Anza is a market leader in painting tools. This position has been achieved by, among other things, focusing on ergonomics. “Traditionally, painting handles are made of bent steel wire. If we use aluminium instead, the handle becomes 40% lighter.” This is what Håkan Johansson, the head Anza’s quality and development department, says.
What do the painters say?
Anza’s new handle is made of a bent aluminium profile – a round bar with a diameter of 10 mm. A test group consisting of professional painters had the opportunity to try and compare the products. Everyone was enthusiastic. Some
opinions:
- “The aluminium handle is much easier to use and it feels much lighter to work with compared to the steel handle.”
- “During a day’s work it can be many kilograms less to lift if you use a lighter handle.”
- “It is good that it does not rust when you coat it with plastic.”
“Aluminium is the perfect material for us. It is our objective to make the painting work as easy and effortless as possible”, concludes Håkan Johansson.
