Aluminium is three times lighter than steel. And this is a heavy argument for many engineers.

Only by replacing 182 kg of steel elements in a car with similar parts made of aluminium, the weight of the vehicle can be reduced by 100 kg. This makes it possible to save 640 litres of fuel during the car’s life cycle.
The light metal is also praised by ergonomics specialists. It has saved many people from heavy lifts and backache.
