Working at Sapa Profiler

We are all team players. We develop together with our colleagues and customers.

For the employees of Sapa Profiler there are always new exciting projects to start, developing customer relations to become absorbed in and last but not least new technical and business challenges to be stimulated by. And because an aluminium profile can as readily be a part of a truck engine as a part of a designer piece of furniture, there is every chance of learning something new – across the borders of different industries. The fact that we are also a part of an international group of companies creates excellent opportunities for exchange across country borders.

Customers all over the world

Approximately two thirds of the 1200 persons employed at Sapa Profiler AB in Sweden are metal workers, while the rest are clerks and university graduates.

The Swedish production facilities are located in Vetlanda and Finspång. They serve customers from all over the world. At the same time, we have sales offices in Vetlanda, Stockholm, Gothenburg and Umeå.

At the technical front edge

In many aspects we are at the absolute front edge within numerous areas of technology – both as regards product development and our own production environment. For example, in 2004 the biggest investment decision in Sapa’s history was made to build a state-of-the-art anodising plant in Vetlanda.

We work strategically and systematically on our working environment focusing on the health and safety of the personnel.  It is obvious for us that high productivity can be combined with good working conditions.

Competence development

We also invest a lot in competence development, workplace learning, vocational training and our own leader development programme. We have our Profile Academy as well, that is open for both our staff and our customers.
