Hobbies: In my leisure time I play golf and tennis. I am interested in music and I have played the piano from childhood. I am a member of a band and when we have an opportunity, we perform in restaurants and public parks playing rock music from the 1960-ties.
In the CD player: I listen mostly to the radio. My favourite groups are Extreme and Electric Boys.
Favourite team: My father comes from Barcelona and therefore I support Barcelona in football. In Sweden my heart beats for AIK.
A film you recommend: “Mississippi Burning” directed by Alan Parker.
Favourite place to visit: I feel at home in the Mediterranean area. Nice is a pleasant city, close to the Alps, Spain and Italy. I like all the small villages in the neighbourhood and the fantastic culture.
Patrick has worked at Sapa Profiler since 1996 when he saw an advertisement about Sapa and aluminium profiles in a newspaper.
– At that time I did not know what aluminium profiles were, I thought that I maybe was a shop selling pots and pans. I stated my career as an internal seller and I have been a salesperson since 2001. Sapa Profiler is a good employer. I have worked at the same department during all my years in the company and I like my job very much. I think it is important to be satisfied with one’s situation at the place of work to be able to do a good job.
Fortunately, Patrick knows today that aluminium can be used for very much more than just pots, beverage cans and food foil.
– Aluminium is a metal with fantastic possibilities and many application areas, it can be used for everything from bracelets to oil rigs. Some of the useful properties of the metal include its low weight, excellent formability and good conductivity. Thanks to the diversified uses of the metal we are not limited to only one branch of the industry, The requirements put by different industries vary a lot, of course, and I am learning new things all the time, which is very exciting.
The Sapa Group is a world leader in aluminium profiles and Sapa Profiler has sales offices all over Sweden, which makes that we can work close to our customers. Thanks to such a close co-operation, the customers can get some more added value.
– I believe and hope that we are perceived as a company just large enough for all our customers. All customers are important, no matter how big they are.
Patrick has a lot of nice memories from all his years at Sapa and he is full of expectations for the future. Above all, he thinks that it will be exciting to see how our new Sapa Innovation Center in Vetlanda is growing. The center will offer the customers different possibilities to carry on development work together with Sapa Profiler’s technicians and engineers.
– It is an innovative approach that will make it possible to reduce the development time from an idea to a finished product and will result in even more creative solutions. I think that the resulting customer value will be enormous! Only the fantasy sets the limits!
