Working in close co-operation with the client, our applications engineers prepare the optimal profile solution for the specific case, regardless of whether it is the frame profiles for solar modules, the supporting structure and mounting system or special applications involving solar thermal energy. When it comes to heat exchangers, Sapa has extensive experience in the areas of heat dissipation and can thus determine the heat dissipation requirement and hence the necessary geometry and size of the heat-sink profile for each application at an early stage.

A novel solar module frame developed by Sapa is a good example of how clients can put the potential for rationalisation to effective use. By intelligently integrating multifarious functions directly in the profile frame, clients can achieve a cost saving of up to 15%, regardless of whether it is a thin-film or crystalline solar module.
