About the Company
The Sapa Group is the world’s leading producer of extruded aluminium profiles working across 13 countries in Europe and 16 countries worldwide. Turnover is in excess of 3.4 billion EUR with a total workforce of 13,000 employees.
In the UK we operate from three sites: Cheltenham in Gloucestershire, Redditch in Worcestershire and Tibshelf in Derbyshire, employing 350 staff and offering a large range of aluminium extruded profiles and components and aluminium fabrication.
While we have an extensive range of standard extrusions, our main business is the development of bespoke extruded solutions for our diverse range of customers working in many different market sectors.
Sapa's strategy is clearly dedicated to providing local market manufacturing facilities while offering the full resources of a global producer. This offers our customers the reliability and flexibility of local supply routes while providing world class technical back up. In 2008 we invested £6m in the modernisation and improvement of our UK extrusion facilities which re-enforces our commitment to UK manufacturing.
Our commitment to the environment is also well established. Our in-house remelt facilities ensure we are able to recycle scrap using only 5% of the energy used to produce the raw material.
Add to this our in-house anodising and die making facilities along with an extensive array of painting and mechanical fabrication partners and we are able to offer our customers a complete solution for their aluminium extrusion needs. All supplied to meet exacting and approved quality standards.
Our technical expertise is always available and we invite you to involve us early in any product development so that we can help provide a cost effective solution to you requirements.
