Every day thousands of kilograms of Sapa aluminium profiles are processed into end products. Aluminium is popular with designers and product developers: it is recyclable, has a high residual value, is 33% lighter than steel, is strong, durable, aesthetic and non-toxic, and there are almost no limits on its processing capabilities (casting, extrusion, bending, etc.).

SAPA PROFILE ACADEMY

To provide the best possible support to our customers, Sapa organises a Profile Seminar every year. This two-day event brings together designers, builders and product developers for an opportunity to learn more about intelligent design in aluminium.

Over time, Sapa has acquired considerable experience in the use of aluminium profiles.

Can several functions be combined in a single profile?
Can the weight be reduced by placing the material only where it is actually needed?
Can small modifications reduce extrusion costs?

These are only a few of the questions that Sapa can answer.
