Focus on the mini-extrusions

Sapa RC Profiles is now also supplying small aluminium sections in collaboration with Sapa Profiles La Selva, the specialist in small lightweight profiles and mini-extrusions.

The smallest profile in the Sapa range weighs 30 gr/m and the diameter can be a minimum of 5 mm.

The greatest challenge in the manufacture of small profiles is the precision.
The tolerances obtained by Sapa are kept to an absolute minimum.

Small profiles are offered in the following alloys: 6060, 6063, 6106, 6463, 6401, 6005, 6082, 3103 and 7116.
Obtained hardness between F13 and F36.

Sapa supplies products with a finish which conforms to a surface roughness of less than 6 microns.

It is a clear trend that clients are increasingly building more functions into the profiles through advanced design techniques. Sapa does not just offer a profile, but also contributes to the search for a solution which can offer a suitable answer to quality and modern performance requirements. That is why sales of small lightweight aluminium profiles are increasing in advanced industry, for example in the automobile and energy sector. The building and construction sector also remain large purchasers.

Of course, the whole process, from aluminium extrusion to finishing, is ISO-certified.
