Inverter cabinets are usually made of sheet steel. However, aluminium profiles offer lower weight, a superior malleability and more exclusive design possibilities.

The cabinet can be manufactured using fewer machining processes. As with heat sinks, a lighter cabinet translate into lower total weight or the opportunity to add more components into the cabinet.

Better finish

Even inverters are facing stricter surface finish requirements. An aesthetically appealing material in itself, aluminium can be surface treated and coated to achieve high-quality surface quality.
