Sapa in Spain launch design competition

Addressed to students, Sapa Profiles in Spain launch their first contest for

Design of Furniture in extruded aluminium.

Students studying Architecture, Industrial Design, Engineering, or Fine Arts in national or international universities, can participate with a project for a piece of furniture designed with extruded aluminium sections.

The winner will get a scholarhip to work in Sapa Application Center, the R&D center in Spain plus and additional sum of 3.000 €.

The five best projects will receive a diploma and will participate in a communication campaign with the presentation of all the works and designers, a communication dossier and the exhibition of the projects.

Projects will be welcome until 12.30 pm 22 May 2009.

The decision of the jury will be communicated on 18 June and the prize will be handed over in June in the location of Sapa Profiles in la Selva del Camp (Tarragona).
