Since 2004 Sapa has been divided in three core business areas: Profiles, Building System and Heat Transfer. Sapa develops, manufactures and markets value-added aluminium profiles, profile-based building systems and heat exchanger strips, and is the world’s leading independent manufacturer in this field.
Sapa’s business concept is based on a close co-operation with its customers, who are mainly located in Europe, North America and Asia. The biggest customer segments include construction, transport, home and office, and engineering industry.
We develop our products in a close co-operation with the customers. In this way, they get a good opportunity to develop their own products and to increase their competitiveness. The company’s activities are supported by Sapa Technology, the group’s joint research and development unit.
Sapa has sales of approximately SEK 35 billion and some 15,000 employees (2007). Since 2006 Sapa has been a part of the Norwegian Orkla Group, which is listed at the Oslo Stock Exchange. .
