The metal of the future
Aluminium has been endowed with unusually many positive properties. Because of this, the material is, after iron, the most often used metal in a class by itself.
And the extrusion technology is particularly well suited for this material. The metal is light, formable and has high strength. Its corrosion resistance is high and the ability to conduct heat and electricity is well known and confirmed. And because aluminium is practically available in unlimited quantities, the metal is an important part of a sustainable society. Therefore, it is not so strange that many people call aluminium the metal of the future.
