Sapa Extrusions Adds CNC Machining Services & Deburring

Yankton, South Dakota – The Yankton Operation of Sapa Extrusions, Inc. now offers complete CNC machining services to enhance its line of extruded aluminum products. The installation of a Hass VF-3 vertical machining center, which supports a 20-tool changer magazine, enables Sapa Extrusions to provide customers with complete services for cutting, drilling and tapping. These CNC machining services now join the company’s other capabilities in painting, punching, forming, welding and assembly. 

As part of its continuing capital investment, Sapa Extrusions has also installed Almco VibeMaster deburring equipment to improve the cut ends of extruded surfaces. With these value-added services, Sapa Extrusions can supply semi-finished or fully finished extruded aluminum parts and assemblies that are ready to be sequenced directly to a customer’s production line.
