History

1983  -  Operations began with two direct extrusion presses (3000 & 1800 tons), 4 Articial Aging Ovens, Vertical Paint facility, Anodize Department and Packaging/Shipping Area

1984  -  Installed an additional 2250 ton press and Horizontal Paint Line

1985  -  Added Die Shop

1986  -  Installed additional 1800 ton press

1988  -  Added Casting facility

1993  -  Created a Fabrication Department with Pines Bender to begin servicing automotive customers

1994  -  Added additional artifical aging capacity

1995  -  Added fabrication capability with the installation of a Metlsaw Close Tolerance Saw

1996  -  Added additional artifical aging capacity

1997  -  Added fabrication capability with the installation of a Roto Deburr Unit

1998   -  Installed new  Cutback Fabrication Saws

1999  -  Added fabrication capability with the installation of a multi functional punch press

2000  -  Installed fabrication equipment to further service the automotive industry

2001  -  Added fabrication capability with the installation of a Roll Bender

2004  -  Installed fabrication equipment to service the rail car industry

2007  -  Became part of the joint venture between Sapa and Alcoa.  Added fabrication capability with the installation of a knurl machine, weld capabilities and additional milling & drilling operations.
