I. Purpose and Application for Bridge Railing and Curb Mount

Type BP railing is designed to mount on top of concrete barriers, such as jersey barriers.  The purpose of this system is to aid in separating pedestrian and bicycle traffic from vehicular traffic.

Type CR railing is designed to mount on curbs.  The purpose of this system is pedestrian and bicyclists fall prevention from elevated areas.

*Type BP and CR railing can be used together to create safe pedestrian and bicycle right-of-ways on bridges.

II. Purpose and Application for Vertical Baluster

Press Rail (Type PR) and Pedestrian Rail (Type PED) are vertical picket railing systems used to effectively prevent persons from falling from elevated walking surfaces.  Baluster spacing is usually dictated by applicable codes and intended to prevent people from passing through the rail.  These systems work well in a wide range of applications, including private commercial and government projects, bridges, walkways, and pedestrian and bicycle right-of-ways.

III.  Purpose and Application for Component Railing

Line Rail (Type LR) is a versatile in-line pipe railing system designed to be used as handrails and guardrails.  This system incorporates standard 1.5-inch schedule 40 pipe into a wide range of configurations to satisfy project and code requirements in nearly every application.  From one to eight horizontal members can be designed into this system.

The Wall Rail (WR) rail system utilizes 1.5-inch schedule 40 pipe with stock parts and custom fittings to satisfy wallrail and stairway rail requirements.

These Component Pipe Rail systems are well suited for private and government projects where guardrails, handicap rails, and handrails are required.  A sampling of projects includes municipal buildings, walking ramps, water treatment plants, water reclamation plants, pedestrian and bicycle right-of-ways, industrial buildings, resorts and hotels, apartments, and condominiums.
