Thomas Ljungqvist, 31, has been appointed Head of Mergers & Acquisitions for the Sapa Group and will begin his in new position on 18 May 2010. Thomas will be placed at the head-office in Stockholm and report to the CFO.

In his new role, Thomas will focus on M&A-projects outside of Asia, within Profiles Europe and North America, Heat Transfer and Building System.

Thomas holds a Master of Business Administration from Stockholm School of Economics and has previously worked at Cap Gemini and UBS in Switzerland. The last two years he has been a part of the M&A-team at Orkla.
