Sapa invests SEK 80 million in Sapa Heat Transfer in Finspång, Sweden
Safety and increased capacity is the focus of Sapa’s SEK 80 million investment in Sapa Heat Transfer in Finspång. ”With Sapa’s focus on sustainability and with the growth we are seeing in the market, this is completely in line with our plans for the future”, says Sapa Heat Transfer’s CEO, Ralf Nordén.
Research and development are vital to competitiveness in the automotive industry. This is why Sapa Heat Transfer has decided to invest in an Application Centre, where Sapa, in partnership with its customers, can develop the materials and applications of the future.
Sapa’s three cold rolling mills will also be upgraded. In addition, the handling of material in and around the plant will be improved, and the works will be modified to ensure that they can cope with faster rolling speeds. The aim is improved reliability and capacity.
”We are really looking forward to expanding the skills of our workforce and upgrading our plant in Finspång, to ensure that we can met our customers’ needs, now and in the future”, says the CEO, Ralf Nordén.
