In our Delhi facility, In addition to our extrusion capabilities, we can deliver a complete array of fabrication services, including:
•Cutting - Cutting aluminum is done at higher speeds than when cutting steel. Cross-cutting saws adapted for aluminum can eliminate burrs without the need for additional processing.
•Drilling - Drilling can be done with hand-held drills, pedestal drills, CNC machines, lathes, gantry drills and drilling stations in automated lines.
•Punching - Punching operations can include hole cutting, cutting out blanks and cutting off lengths. The method is quick and inexpensive, but the profile must be shaped to allow punching.
•Milling – Our machining centers are specially designed for milling aluminum extrusions with higher efficiency rates.
•Bending - Bending offers high shaping accuracy and should be done before anodizing.
•Stretch forming - Stretch forming is a process in which aluminum shapes or sheets are stretched and bent simultaneously over a die in order to form large contoured parts.
•Shearing – Shearing is a fabricating process used to cut straight lines on flat aluminum stock. It can be performed on sheet, strip, bar, plate, and even angle stock.
•Tumble deburring – This is a process for removing small chips and remaining burrs on the extrusion cut by friction using circulating stones or ceramic media. The resulting finish will be completely smooth with a slightly galvanized appearance.
•Notching - Notching makes a notch in the metal by using punch tools. The purpose is to bend a corner in a sheet or to join two tubes at a T-joint. For large sections of aluminum extrusions, the notching is done using plasma cutting.
•Tapping - This process generates holes with internal threading, which function as a pair with another component, like a nut and bolt. The pair has male and female elements, and threads are cut into the hole of the female portion using a tap. The cutting of threads into the male portion is known as threading.

The Delhi plant has the capability of clear anodizing (201, 202, 204, 205 R1) and applying electrolytically deposited color (champagne to black) in-house up to 31 feet. We partner with our extensive network of other facilities for hydro forming, thermal break, sand blasting, FSW for lengths & components, powder coating, liquid coating, polishing and brushing.
